Hithender Kumar

After a long stint in the tax and transfer pricing department with PW & CO LLP at Chennai, he joined S P R to head the direct taxation and transfer pricing vertical. He has around 14 years of experience in corporate tax, expatriate taxation and consulting practice, with extensive experience serving multinational clients in several cross-border tax and transfer pricing matters.

 Hithender has handled several complex transfer pricing benchmarking / planning assignments and litigation spanning automotive, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, software and IT. He has represented clients in tax and transfer pricing controversies involving intricate issues and has been part of the litigation team that handled cases before the tax tribunal and courts, culminating in landmark decisions on both corporate tax and transfer pricing issues. Hithender has also advised clients on tax and regulatory matters, restructuring of businesses and operations. In addition, Hithender has written articles which were published in leading journals such as International Fiscal Association (IFA) publications.
